1. First, cut off the electricity at home and pay attention to the safety of electricity use.
2. Switch socket replacement step 2: disassemble;
Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the socket and remove the cover. If the cover is not easy to remove, you can use a blade to remove the paint on the edge of the cover and carefully pry up the cover. Then remove the screws fixing the wire box, and take out the socket from the wire box. Loosen the screws holding the wires and carefully remove the wires.
1. Take a flat-head screwdriver and pry open the switch cover.
2. Take the cross screwdriver and remove the screws on both sides.
3. Remove the entire set of switches.
4. Insert a cross screwdriver into the cross hole next to the wire, and remove the wire. Please use a test pen to confirm whether the power is off.
Three, switch socket replacement step three: wiring
Connect the new socket to the wire and fix it with screws. Generally, the neutral wire (blue) is connected to the position of N, the live wire (yellow/red) is connected to the position of L, and the ground wire (green and yellow) is connected to the position of E. Tighten the screws after connecting.
Four, switch socket replacement step four: installation
Carefully fold the socket and wire into the wire box, press into the junction box, tighten the screws that fix the wire box, and always check whether the wire box is stable during installation. Finally, fix the cover with screws and turn on the power.
5. Loosen the wiring screws on the new wall switch with a cross screwdriver.
6. Install the previously removed wires in order according to the original installation position.
7. Cover the wall switch panel and lock it back to the wall, turn on the power, and it's done.

For safety reasons, the replaced socket can be checked with a tester. The electroscope touches each socket, the bright front part is the negative pole (zero line position), and the back bright part is the positive pole (hot line position).
